Your role as a Data Analyst will be instrumental in bolstering our team's performance. You will lead efforts to enhance data-driven decision-making, refine analytical processes, nurture collaboration, and ultimately, drive forward-looking outcomes. What you’ll do

The Data Analyst role at our startup demands a distinctive blend of qualifications and skills, essential for navigating the intricate terrain of SaaS, a fully-remote workforce, and customers located across the globe.

While technical proficiency holds its significance, the hallmark of a thriving Data Analyst lies in the fusion of outstanding communication prowess, robust interpersonal aptitude, and a natural talent for creative problem-solving.


Your role is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

  • Build and Enhance Data Pipeline (35%): Develop and maintain robust data pipelines that support efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). You will ensure that our data architecture supports scalable and reliable analytical processes.

  • Data Management and Analysis (30%): Collect, clean, and interpret data to identify trends and insights. Develop and maintain databases and data systems, creating standardized operating procedures for data collection and analysis to ensure data quality and accessibility.

  • Reporting and Visualization (20%): Design and generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, utilizing data visualization tools to present data in a clear and actionable manner.

  • Strategic Insights and Recommendations (10%): Conduct in-depth analyses to support business decisions, providing actionable insights to optimize operational efficiency and influence strategic planning.

  • Compliance and Data Governance (5%): Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal regulations related to data security and privacy.

Required Qualifications:

Adaptable in Ambiguity: You excel in dynamic environments that require the ability to handle ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. Your flexibility allows you to find solutions when clear directions are not provided.

Detail-Oriented: You possess a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

Ownership: You take the initiative to bring about positive results, acting with the care and dedication of an owner.

Tech Savvy: Experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools. Programming with Python or R is highly preferred.

Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of data privacy laws and experience implementing data protection regulations is a plus.

Highly Preferred Experience:

  • Tools and Platforms: Strong working knowledge of HubSpot, Google Analytics, Pendo & UserPilot. Candidates with direct experience in these specific tools will be able to integrate seamlessly into our data processes.

  • SaaS and B2B Environment: Experience working in a SaaS and B2B environment, preferably with experience in event management or similar industries.

  • Compensation: OTE (Annual base salary and variable bonus): $70,000-$90,000 USD
